Privacy policy

This policy needs a lawyer more than the others do. Our application forms collect health information, which the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 treats differently from ordinary personal data. Do not publish this without review.

1. Who is responsible

Kartik Dhar, trading as Strategy Sense, of Flat KCB0051106, Wish Town Klassic, Jaypee Greens Wish Town, Sector 134, Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh 201304, is the Data Fiduciary for the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

3. Health information

We ask about blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy, glaucoma, pregnancy, recent surgery, psychiatric history and current medication. We ask because some of what we teach, particularly pranayama with retention, is not appropriate for everyone.

We collect this on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the confirmation box on the form. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us, though we may then be unable to enrol you.

Health answers are seen only by the teaching faculty who need them. They are never used for marketing, never shared with third parties for their own purposes, and never sent to any analytics or advertising tool.

4. What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers on this site. We do not add work email addresses to a mailing list. We do not use your data to train anything.

5. Who processes it for us

6. How long we keep it

• Applications that do not lead to enrolment: [12 months], then deleted.
• Student records including health screening: for the programme and [3 years] after, for certification and safety purposes.
• Order records: [8 years], as tax law requires.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, withdraw consent, nominate someone to exercise your rights if you cannot, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Children

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. [IF YOU ACCEPT 16 TO 18 YEAR OLDS, THIS SECTION MUST CHANGE AND VERIFIABLE PARENTAL CONSENT IS REQUIRED UNDER THE DPDP ACT.]

9. Cookies

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. It stores a small amount of information in your own browser to remember an order reference and whether you dismissed the announcement bar. That never leaves your device.

Fonts load from Google Fonts and Fontshare, and the order page loads a QR library from cdnjs. Those providers may log your IP address as part of serving the file.

10. Changes
